Cam & Tammy took a few youth from Liberty St. Church of God & they worked at the Mission for the week.
On Friday, some more of us went down to help work. The work ranged from putting beds together to cleaning the siding on the buildings. This was done at the Women & Children's shelter.
When the work was done we went to the Men's shelter for a concert.
The concert was supposed to be outside iu the parking lot but an approaching storm forced us to set up in the chapel.
After the concert, the director gave an invitation. Nine men raised their hands to receive Salvation & there were also 9 rededications! The Chaplain said they would follow up with the men during the coming week.
It was good to have Brian back with us!
The Union Mission performs several ministires. Everything they do depends on donations.  Even the food they serve to the residents of the shelter & the homeless.

They fed us the same meal they were feeding everyone else.......Lobster Tails & Crab legs! It was donated by a local restaurant.

Pray for the Union Mission  as they minister to people in need.

We hope to return soon to minister with them again!

Just wanted to drop you folks a line to thank you again for stopping by and performing for us. Not too long ago one of the gentlemen from your group stopped by and dropped off a box of cds for the men. They couldn't wait to get their hands on those albums. The cook plays your work a great deal in the kitchen, especially during mealtime. As people come through to get their trays they're also greeted by your tunes getting belted out. Seems to help keep things calm and under control though. Thanks again for coming and as always we'd love to have you return anytime you like; you all are a blessing.

Always,
